Man, there's a lot of consolidation going on in these videogame companies these days. Is this a really bad sign for the industry when this is happening?
games are going to cost a lot more and take a lot more people to make. if a game flops it'll be disastrious for any one single company.

Only if they kept creative control, but I still think it's a bad idea. Besides MGS I'm not that into what Konami is doing these days.
