Are you kidding me? Like, you could do the uppercut, 100 punch and super moves with regularity? In the first Art of Fighting? Because if so, you are like an elite gaming athlete, with hands of cybernetic precision. I doff my cap to you, sir. Fatal Fury had tough moves, but not tough like that.Quote:

Heh, I don't think that ANYONE here is holding their breaths for a US release.
We all know better than that by now.
They've been good with releasing stuff in the U.S. for the PS2 and especially the Xbox, so maybe these will come out here.
I used to play the first Art of Fighting in the arcade on a daily basis when I was in high school, and yes I could pull off the moves without much trouble.Quote:

Okay, I just quickly tried it out, and I'm just not seeing what the problem is.
I had no trouble doing any of the special moves, and I beat the 'Super Death Blow' bonus round no problem, and trust me, I'm not that special.
I had some trouble with the dragon punch move, because the timing is different than SF, and I don't remember the hidden super, if that's what you were referring to.
Shit, my hat goes off to you, then.
I could rarely ever get any of those special moves to work.
Here's a grand idea: SNK puts KOF '98, Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade 1 + 2, and Twinkle Star Sprites onto the Xbox, gives it live support, and put them all on one disc for $50.
They can then close up shop, because their job would be done.
Have you seen Metal Slug 6?
I'd really like to see a PS2 release of Slug 1 and 2/X. The GBA version of Metal Slug Advance was pretty medicore and still took them 3 years to get out, not expecting much from further ports. *-neo
