I don't see why we're getting both MS2 and MSX.
I'll take the fighters, though, preferably on Xbox Live.
That's a damn fine point my friend...really no need for 2 with X being released. Odd.Quote:

Fucking sweet! I am pretty positive that if these games get U.S. ports, they will be on Xbox and Live enabled. At least I hope so. I want all of those. The Online collection games that is, and I would not be suprised if they bundle the KoF ones.
These better be brought to xbox live.
Only thing, im almost sure this is a typo:
NeoGeo Online Collection Vol. 4: KOF NESTs Chapter - includes KOF98, KOF99 and KOF2000
I think its 99, 2000, and 2001 - cause i saw screens of this collection shown at the press conference. Missing 98 :( KOF 98 and Mark of the Wolves online would be heaven.

I've seen the same thing posted elsewhere, but 99, 2000 and 2001 would make more sense, since 98 has nothing to do with Nests.Quote:

More like Capcom is getting jealous.
Although SNK would still have a long way to go if they wanted to have more ports/remakes/etc than Capcom. :D
I'd be all over those KoF and Fatal Fury collections if they were on Live.
Are you kidding me? Like, you could do the uppercut, 100 punch and super moves with regularity? In the first Art of Fighting? Because if so, you are like an elite gaming athlete, with hands of cybernetic precision. I doff my cap to you, sir. Fatal Fury had tough moves, but not tough like that.Quote:

Heh, I don't think that ANYONE here is holding their breaths for a US release.
We all know better than that by now.
They've been good with releasing stuff in the U.S. for the PS2 and especially the Xbox, so maybe these will come out here.
I used to play the first Art of Fighting in the arcade on a daily basis when I was in high school, and yes I could pull off the moves without much trouble.Quote:

Okay, I just quickly tried it out, and I'm just not seeing what the problem is.
I had no trouble doing any of the special moves, and I beat the 'Super Death Blow' bonus round no problem, and trust me, I'm not that special.
I had some trouble with the dragon punch move, because the timing is different than SF, and I don't remember the hidden super, if that's what you were referring to.
Shit, my hat goes off to you, then.
I could rarely ever get any of those special moves to work.
Here's a grand idea: SNK puts KOF '98, Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade 1 + 2, and Twinkle Star Sprites onto the Xbox, gives it live support, and put them all on one disc for $50.
They can then close up shop, because their job would be done.
Have you seen Metal Slug 6?
I'd really like to see a PS2 release of Slug 1 and 2/X. The GBA version of Metal Slug Advance was pretty medicore and still took them 3 years to get out, not expecting much from further ports. *-neo
X already came out domestically on PSone. Yeah I'd love to see a PS2 revision but we also didn't get a domestic MS3. Screw these assholes.
If Sony of US says no, then it's no. There isn't shit that SNK can do about it.Quote:

Not that it really matters, AOF is awful stuff. It's good for story and character development if you care about SNK characters, but gameplay wise these games are better left in the past.
They always did.Quote:

Do you have the Dolphin Blue credits? I want to check if any of the Metal Slug staff was on that.
Great post there.Quote:

You can already play MS1 and 2 on PSP now. Don't wait for SNK.Quote:

I hope that when they release KoF 98 for Xbox LIVE, they give it the 94 Rebout treatment, because that's the only KoF (besides maybe '96) that I'm really interested in playing.
KOF 96' is the main reason I'm getting KOF Collection 1. The pictures they had of 96 and 97 running on PS2 were absolutely beautiful, so I'll be happy to get those.
*crosses fingers for AST and OST options*
I was thinking of skipping KOF Collection 2, because I already have 99' on the DC, and 00' and 01' on the PS2.
But I'm a total KOF freak, so I'll probably end up getting both.
No, wrong. A Recap post is never great, it is an anathema.Quote:
