Doesn't sound free to me.Quote:
The DivX Create Bundle comes with a free 15-day trial of the DivX Converter and a free 6-month trial of DivX Pro. You must purchase the full DivX Create Bundle if you wish to continue using DivX Pro or the DivX Converter after your trial periods expires. The DivX Player does not expire at any time.

Why does the bottom of the page say different? Are they trying to fuck with my head?

Nice. Probably won't use it. But nice.
Bbobb: Look at the upper right where it says "Free Today" and click on that.
Sweet, always need new codecs.
Thanks for the heads up, been meaning to try encoding with the Divx Pro codec. It'll go great with my shiny new Philips DVP642 Divx/DVD player that I got for $54 from Best Buy. Of course, it doesn't do AC3 or gmc/qpel encoded Divx files like my modded Xbox does, but it's alot less fussy about reading media. Another reason I got was so I could verify that files will play on my friends and family's DVP642's.....
Doesn't register the DivX MPEG 2 codec. Hm.
