Anyone know how to do this? I don't even know how to get the cover art on i-tunes! WTF!? Shouldn't it update automatically? Or is it on the discs somewhere. Help me! I'm a dullard. Damn instruction on these things is pathetic.

when you have an album selected, in the bottom left corner of itunes there should be an empty box. drag and drop a picture and that becomes the artwork for all of the songs on that album. As far as transfering it to the ipod, there is an option somewhere in the itunes option menu to transfer the pics, it is on by default.

...figured it out. Went to a music site. Found the cover art and copied it to the desktop. Then dragged and dropped. Worked like a charm.
Ok so I got most of the covers to appear. But for some reason a couple dont show up. WTF!? oh well.
Yea mine used to fuck up occasionally, with no rhyme or reason. What I tend to do is copy the files directly from the internet into itunes, and then drag from itunes into my folder with all of my album art. That way, the picture is the name of the album, and this way I can keep track of it all and also view it in my photos section.

This has also happened in a few instance, but are you talking no pictures at all or just some albums? If there is no pictures at all, make sure the picture option is checked in itunes, and if that doesnt work you could try deleting the songs and replacing them on your ipod. One last idea, if you have it set to manually update, it sends the songs with pictures like a whole different file, so unless you specifically update, it will stay as the old file without the picture.

Nice, I still need to get all my files caught up. Sometimes it's just too hard to find a decent cover of some lesser known albums. Especially when I have anouth 80 or so to go.
