Gitaroo Man is still the best and most underappreciated music game ever.

Agreed with all those except your comment on the Parappa difficulty. Frequency and Amplitude are also great, although the fucked instrument pacing in Amp make Freq the better game.

Agreed on those as well, except that I didn't think Unison was hard at all. However, I've only played the US version which made the game like five times as easy, but I had a blast learning some of those songs in the need-to-be-memorized hard style which I believe was the Japanese normal.

You're also missing Dance Summit 2001.

Maybe I just didn't put enough time into it. From what I played, though, it seemed to just expect far too much from the player too soon (sort of like Siren).

All the game rankings are based on different number of reviews though. There's a ton of other games, but whatever. Seems like there is a lotta love for Gitaroo so I'm sure it's one of the top music games to play.

Although I think it's safe to say that the general consensus is that when Zerohero thinks he is communicating with others, no one knows what the fuck he's saying. So that's like a 50% rating.

Maybe, it's been a while. I do remember having to spend a while in the practice mode of each song before I could tackle it on-air but it wasn't such a long game that being stuck on a song for a few tries was much of a detriment.

... so are we purposely forgetting Space Channel 5?
