Shidoshi... You also forgot Mad Maestro. You're forgiven for that, tho.

Jam with the Band is a hard game, but it's pretty accessible.
A friend of mine imported, and I had no trouble getting into it.
It starts off pretty easy, and gets crazy hard as you go on.
Most other music games are just impossible for me from the very beginning.
Space Channel 5 was just brutal, because I had no idea when I was supposed to start the pattern, and there were absolutely no visual cues whatsoever.
I only played it a half-dozen times before selling it, though, so maybe there's something I missed.
I owned Um Jammer Lammy a long time ago and could never get the hang of it.
I remember playing Bust A Groove once with a friend and being just completely lost.
You must be white as hell.I'm so ashamed. :( I even 100% the first one a few times on DC and then again on PS2, but it was hard going back after SC5p2 which just destroyed it. Ulala starts off with the greatest outfit ever in the final level of the second one.Quote:

So hot.
I remember SC5 being really tough when i first played it, too. After you get the hang of it, it's not too hard until they start throwing really long strings at you.
Parappa and Um Jammer were both pretty difficult at first. UJL wasn't too hard until Yoko Teriyaki's level. It was hell. (finch is funny because that is obscure reference)
I don't know what it is about her level, but I can pretty much play every other stage with my eyes closed, but her stage STILL kicks my ass.Quote:

I'm the same way with the last Parappa stage - no matter how hard I try, I simply cannot beat it.

It's only $40 at Gamefly, with box and docs. You can't buy it off their site directly - you have to be a subscribing member of gamefly to "keep it" - just join, rent it, and keep it for $40.
*psst* the game got a reprint and has flooded ebay at well under $40
