Halo 3 is going to incorporate an easy way to mute players for the rest of the game. Pull up the player list and use the right stick to select and mute a specific gamertag. It's a lot easier and quicker than doing it through the LIVE dashboard, and it's going to be well received when we face off against the racist kiddies and other notable randoms later this year.
I can't believe no one (console developers at least) thought of that before. Much appreciated.
Most of them can't even keep up with Bungie's efforts from 2004, expecting improvements is almost out of the question.
Good, I got in on the Rule of Three shit, so I'll be around for the beta. I thought I registered way too late to make the cutoff so this is pretty unexpected.

There's also this leaked video which shows you Snowblind a little more. The quality is still so extremely shitty though that you can't tell what's going on and get an idea for how good that version looks like.

I guess there would be three phases then, since the 'Friends and Family Plan' beta invitees get earlier access, or so we've been told. Word says they just have a bunch of invites they're going to hand out to 'key community members' or something like that.
Oh well, Rule of 3 beta invite. No worries.
I will believe it once I see it in Bungie's weekly update. I hope it's not true since I got the beta with Crackdown, but if it is, oh well.

I can't believe how much that map has changed.
The game is definitely looking way better then it did in the multiplayer video doc they released. I'm not so sure I like the redesign of Zanzibar though. It's almost like a Headlong size base mixed with Zanzibar. Plus Camp Froman has been turned into a 2 floor base also, which I'm not so sure I like.
I'm still going to hold out judgment until I actually get some playtime on the map.
Okay, so what is Halo 3's official release date? I know it was originally going to be in November, but then there was the talk that it will be pushed up to September. 1up.com has it for September 15. So is the official release going to be in September now?
There is no official date. With Mass Effect being moved to September (as rumor suggests now) I'd say November is most likely. Leaves October to GTA 4.
Half that map is Zanzibar, the other half I have no idea what the fuck is going on.
As a side note, that's really hot shit and I can't fucking wait for this game.
