Yeah, tech support can eat my ass. Especially phone tech support. I've moved up quit a bit, and now support basically only educators and their units (to which they usually don't personally own, so they aren't as emotionally attached)...but it's still irritating to be a customer's bitch. Having to follow extremely strict policy and procedures or get yelled at, sucks ass.

And, fuck, some of the teachers I speak to are the biggest morons. I mean, wow. To think, these people are TEACHING. It blows my mind.

Software developer for a military contractor. Many of the mission apps the military uses to dominate the world were written by me or someone at my company. I don't hate my job at all, very lax work schedule, interesting subject matter, always using new technology, and I work with a lot of cool people.

Right now I'm with one of the biggest newspaper circulation companies in the country. We handle about 30 papers nationwide. Basically we keep track of their customers, log missed papers/complaints, vacations and stops. I recently got a promotion so that's a plus but it's nothing I want to do for a career. It's easy, mindless and basically the same thing everyday. I recently had a job interview that went very well, so my time at this company may be coming to a close.

Which circulation company is it? This is relevant to my interests.

I seriously don't know how you do it.

I <3 everything about my job except for the commute, but that's the Bay Area for you.

Pissing away my inheritance is my job for the time being.
I love/hate it.
Once I've done that, I'll probably get a job stocking shelves or doing landscaping.
