No, it isn't that. Look at the bottom of this page to see it (it also has all of Jessica's different outfits):Quote:

those are some interesting outfits.
well, today's the day! i might be picking this up on my lunch break along with the guide. if not then after work.
Where's Edwards Armor?
(answer: behind the wall in the secret room.)
got my copy with strategy guide!
there was a guy behind me in line who was like "y'all got that final fantasy demo joint?" and the guy that worked there was like "...uh...you mean dragon quest 8?" and the guy was like "...dragon ball?" and then the other guy was like "do you wanna buy it?" and then the guy was like "yeah....yea, lemme get that joint."
it was sad/funny.
Just picked it up. Unlike the demo (and the Japanese version,) the music is fully orchestrated. :link:
looks like i'm gonna have to buy the japanese ost, then.
Fully orchestrated scores are a very good idea for Dragon Quest, especially since that's what each game in the series aims for, but is held back by lousy sound banks. It's a huge improvement.
:( Did you slap him rama? He needed a punchintheface sandwich. GRAG. I can't wait til after work so i can play DQ VIII and Magna Carta. Someone make a Magna Carta thread before i get back so i don't have to. PLEASE.Quote:

However, if I had to choose one to just listen to on CD (i.e. not while playing the game), I'd go with the live orchestration version.
Anyway, it really comes down to personal preference. I do think it's a shame they didn't include the original synth soundtrack on the USA version as an option, I mean there's space on the disc for it.
how do they even play? i mean...do the tracks loop or fade out and restart?
finch - i didn't wanna waste my energy/excitement on that guy. i hope more people buy it for that demo then get schooled when they play a real rpg. i'm talking about dragon quest 8. also, i saw a demo of that magna carta and....it looked like it moved funny....or something.
