Whatever. No hate for DQ from me. Another of my favorite reviewers hates a lot of the stuff i love. It's fun to read his stuff anyway. Don't hate the guy because he doesn't agree with you. This guy may not the best writer, but he keeps my attention and he doesn't contradict himself as much as you say he does. DW I-IV didn't sell, that's why DW was given away with subscriptions to Nintendo Power. How many people do you know that paid for a single Dragon Warrior? The other stuff i won't even address.

It's a good game, the guy is only ragging on it because it embraces the old-school as its central theme. If that guy had his way this game would've been an online only Dragon Quest (because hey, all the other old RPG franchises have online MMO games, why not DQ?) and we would have called it fucking True Fantasy (Not Live) Online.
I'd have made my lumberjack, and right now I'd be somewhere chopping down trees to sell for pancakes made by arjue's gay chef.
Alright. If you say so. I think it's more that the audience who complains about all that Dragon Quest is embraces the game like nothing else.

I bought this the day it came out unfortanetly because of work and training and such I still havent had a chance to play it yet :(
ok so i got the cow shit(or whatever it's called) after fighting the bull, what can i use the manure with in the alchamy machine?
Well, I'm 45 hours into it and at level 32 for most of my characters. I never move on until I can buy all the best armor and weapons for everybody, which I have almost done in the bazaar, almost ready to go to the dark ruins..
If anybody is a hack, it's him. He doesn't really point out flaws, he just complains about Toryiama, Hori, etc.Quote:
