Bond has traditionally (or at least recently) been a product placement sponge, but the Sony and Vaio logos were conspicuous to the point of distracting you from the story.. is there a Sony-sponsored contest somewhere that challenges viewers to identify every one of their products featured in the movie?
I spotted Craig in Tomb Raider, Road to Perdition, Layer Cake and Munich. Over a span of 6 years, he hardly looks any different in age. I'm not sure what you're basing this on. He's definitely in better shape than any of us.Quote:

As an aside, I think the fan favorite for the next Bond, Clive Owen, doesn't appear to be aging well. Judging from Sin City and Children of Men, he's aged and wrinkled a lot since the BMW short movies and The Bourne Identity.
I'm basing this on his face- Craig's got this early-Lance Hendrickson thing going on. I'm not saying he's ancient-looking yet, I'm just saying that, depending on the lighting and the shot, there's a lot of crow's feet and age lines going on. And the guy's only 38.Quote:

Like someone said earlier the "Shaken or stirred?" "Who gives a damn." line was funny. I also like the fact that this Bond looks like he can actually pull of moves. It didn't seem scripted or choreographed. I liked that alot.
To add to Dole's and Shidoshi's product placement ... I liked the fact that all the cars in the film were/are/or now owned by Ford Motor Company.
Also, the black guy in the beginning was doing whats called Parkour. Basically its non-stop movemnet and getting from the point a to b in the quickest and most non-exherting movement as possible. I used to watch this shit. Its amazing.

It's interesting that Wiki also lists a small number a games that use the style including Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell as examples of the player being able to perform similar moves and abilities. The fact that there's games being made for it directly do have a lot of my interest and I'm waiting to see how it turns out.
The one thing that scares me most about this sport comes from how many are able to land from a long drop without breaking a leg. There is a limit to how much stress and impact the knees can take in the long run and isn't something a normal person can do under any condition.
Saw the movie and definitely enjoyed it. A bit long in places, and I gotta admit that I'm a little bit worried for the next one. I mean, I'm looking forward to seeing it, but I hope Daniel Craig still makes mistakes, and still gets the shit kicked outta him from time to time. :-) Kinda just made the movie more visceral for me...
Oh, and here's a quick link to a documentary on google about Parkour featuring Sebastien Foucan (who's crazy ripped!). Pretty good stuff (about half way through so far, but I gotta get back to work), and interesting cause you get to see how free-runners train.
