In Paris though, a lot of people also just use bikes, as wherever you are, you're never more than a 10 minute bike ride away from a station. Most people use really shitty bikes or else they get stolen. Like my one: (my one is way dirtier, that's just an image I found on the internet)

Well at least newer cars are safer. The car taxes here are so high that I couldn't afford to drive a car later than '84 - which means unsafer conditions for drivers. I even see people ride veteran cars around to school here.Quote:
