Exactly what I meant about the gay emo haircut in my earlier post.

Ripped jeans were a big trend in the late 80's. Look at videos of Bon Jovi and Def Leppard.
When the whole grung fad came about, I found it kind of funny. All the stoners back home (Montana) wore untucked flannel shirts with t-shirts underneath. They didn't do it to be part of the popular bunch, it was more of a statement against fashion. But, that's how grung became so popular now, isn't it.

I'd beat my friend's ass if they ever did that. That pisses me off. Glasses are a pain in the ass. It's like someone riding around in a wheelchair because they somehow think that's cool.Quote:

Opaque had his hair like that for quite a time.Quote:

When I was in high school as I'm sure it is now everyone had to be divided into stupid little groups. We had the prep's, Black kids and the wanna be white kids known as wigger's, we had the red neck's, the head banger's, the "cricket's" IE: the skater/emo kids.. whoever came up with that name sucked.. Anyway everyone had a group and you were labeled under one of them.. it was fucking stupid.
I didn't really fit into any of the groups fully, I listened to heavy metal, rap, alternative. I hate country music but liked to wear a nice pair of "cow boy" boots.. sometimes I wore combat boots, I also always owned the latest Nike's or what not.. it didn't make me a red neck or a skin head....
2# Alterna chicks with old style thick rimmed glasses are hot.
3# I was at a wedding this past weekend and what you would call an emo guy was there, he wore little pants that were half way up to his knee's, his shirt was a girl's shirt and 5 times too small and his hair which was all to one side looked like his flock of seagulls had a flat.
He looked fucking dumb as hell, but if it makes him happy who cares? I remember being a teenager and wearing dumb shit, remember parachute pants anyone?
Anyway that is my random rambling for the day.... :blank:
