Happy Halloween!!!

I know it's only Oct. 29, but figured I'd start a Halloween thread, since it's my favorite holiday by far. (Cuz it's evil). I'm going out tonight in my Gorilla costume and I'm gonna get wasted fo' real. Anybody else going out tonight or are people waiting till sunday or monday? Seems like Saturday night would be the best night to party, so that's what we're doing. I've already had like four beers and we haven't even left the house yet, so I'm sure by the time I get home later I'll spam the shit out of the I'm drunk thread.

I haven't enjoyed Halloween since I was nine, so, yeah. Only good thing is that my dad and his girlfriend are out getting drunk so I get paid top-notch to watch her kids. Fifty bucks, yay!

I just got back from my friend's halloween party. We are a bunch of geeks so it was karaoke, horror movies and video game tournaments. I won the Elemental Gearbolt tournament and got to the finals of the Crash Team Racing tournament.

Oh, I was a generic goth guy because I didnt feel like making a real costume.

I went out tonight on a traditional "Woooo Collegggee" evening and got mildly intoxicated. I was dressed as a frenchman, which gave me an excuse to smoke cigarettes, drink a bottle of wine and be really mean to everyone. Pretty okay time.

I never got that whole slutty costume phenomenon either, several of the girls I went out with last night were all whored up. This one was just wearing a short skirt, a white dress shirt unbuttoned and fishnets. And since I was rude and french all night I got to call her a slut/whore the entire time.

And I'm sure if my girlfriend wasn't in goddamn India she would be all slutted up too. But then I would get to have sex with her later, so it would work out in the end.

I passed out candy this year, since my family was off with my stepsiblings doing trick-or-treating.

A little three year old in a lion costume came to the door. I told him he could take two pieces, so he grabbed the entire bowl and started to walk down our porch stairs. It sort of made my night, it was too funny at the time. His dad told him off, so he turned around and dropped the bowl by accident and he started to cry saying 'sowwy' over and over.

I just dumped a bunch of candy in his bag when his dad wasn't looking.

Edit: To clarify, NE Ohio usually does Halloween trick-or-treating the night before, for some reason. We're stupid like that.

My wife and I will be taking our 2 year-old to the mall to trick or treat tomorrow afternoon. She won't eat the candy, but at least she gets to see other kids and have some fun.

And fuck the costumes. I almost paid $29 for a Cinderella costume for her, until I realized she'd only wear it once...and for only 3 hours at that. I bought her some organge pants with the words "Happy Halloween" all over them, and a little t-shirt with some pumpkins that says "trick or treat." Only cost me $11 in all, and she can use them around the house too.

Yeah, I don't get spending so much on kiddy costumes either. I always had my brother's hand-me-down ones, or home-made stuff. Cat-ear headbands and a black shirt, paper pirate hat, stuff like that.

I went to D.c. last night and saw a lot of pirtate chicks, an Avril Lavigne, a pregnant Britney Spears and the tradittinal Devil chicks. I wore my Gorilla suit but because of too many beers and pills I puked in the mask on thw cab ride back and lost it. Not sure how much vomit I got on the rest of the costume, so hopefully I can salvage it.

On Saturday I was driving through downtown Harrisonburg at 2 in the afternoon and there were a shit ton of kids going shop to shop with their parents "trick or treating." Most cases it was just one child with his mom and no friends. How is that fucking fun? I always went ON Halloween AT night in neighborhoods (the Mall can go fuck itself, that's so fucking lame) with a big group of my friends and usually my dad would tag along to make sure we didn't die. Does anyone do that anymore?

I was a whoppie cushion with a fart box around my neck, which my GF had complete control over. We told everyone it was random, but no one noticed the remote in my GF's hand the whole night. Just goes to show you how much drinking went on at this party.

And in a bitter twist of irony, the best costume award? Chick as a non-slutty rooster.

Tonight, we're handing out candy. Our first year where we are, so we'll see how many people we get.

I was at the fucking MAGIC KINGDOM for gods sake. Slutty Tinkerbell, Slutty Pirates, slutty princesses, etc. ALL there. There is no safe place anymore, and I LOVE it.
