The I'm high thread.

Personally I don't drink alot, and WHEN I'm drunk I never mess with my computer. So when you pop a xanax, smoke a joint or eat some sweet sweet medication; post in this thread.

I'll start; today I was hungover, so I popped 2 painkillers and lobbed a few xanax down the old hatch. (in accordance with the good old 'London-cure/Boris Yeltsin cure': 2 painkillers, 1 xanax & a few primperan). I skipped the primperan though, as I didn't feel nautious.

Just less than an hour ago I ate a sleeping pill 'Imovane' - a third generation hypnotica. Both for kicks but also so I can hit the sack semi-early, as I slept for way too long today.

I took a Motrin for a slight headache, though thanks to military prescriptions, I've built up an immunity to it.

Does that count. I'm not high....but....I took a med. :P

Yeah, that counts, perhaps I should have named the thread 'recreational drugs' or something.

Military doctrine:

Headache? Motrin.

Vicodin messed me up really badly when I took it last spring after I got my wisdom teeth out. A few of you may remember my retarded antic on Xbox Live after I took one too many and spazzed a little bit (I was told by a few Live friends that I wouldn't shut up for three hours, talking about nothing at all).

Vicodin sucks... anything you get with acetaminophen sucks, because there's only so much you can take til you get sick from the acetaminophen. I learned this the hard way, spent an entire day where I couldn't move without vomiting. Whoops. Every time I've taken it since then, I got violently ill. Could be psychosomatic, but regardless, I'm done with it. No more.

Haven't smoked weed in over a year, but the idea of it is seeming awfully nice again. Might need to get back to that.

A ditzy friend took vicodin and drank Red Bull simultaneously. Well, before she knew that the combo could essentially give her a heart attack, that is.

Uh oh, she's calling you back!

I've tried Percoset and decided it's not for me. I don't like the way it feels, but if you have something that really hurts that shit is amazing. Took a 7.5mg dose and it was just waaaay too much. I had no tolerance for it to begin with and after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting for it to start it hit me like a fucking bus. Started feeling it and within 2 minutes I was nuked out of my goard.

Sure, it may be bad for the heart, but mixing uppers with downers gives a certain special feeling.

Well, I guess I would buy pills on the black market if I couldn't get what I wanted. The street/internet scene is scary though, with alot of fake/nonworking drugs in perfectly cloned packaging. I got a few friends that went and became doctors though, so I should be alright. In the worst case scenario I guess I would build myself a little laboratory and make my own drugs from scratch.

On another note, I don't consider myself an abuser. While other people may have a brew after work, I just prefer a pill.

I thought the USA had some kind of central database for prescribed drugs? Eventually all drug dealers will end up in jail and the state will impound that car. I have known quite a few from my 'wild days' and no one escaped that destiny. They may have a fancy car now, but being a drug dealer is no dance on roses, from what I have seen.

I love smoking pot but I've gotta stay off it for my six months of probation. As tempted as I am to smoke, If I get piss tested I could go to jail, so it's not worth it. So now that I can't smoke I've been drinking alot more. A few nights ago I ate way too many Klonopins (a benzodiazopine, for anxiety, kinda like xanax but as intense but longer lasting) and drank a bunch of beer before and during a seeing Social Distortion in D.C. Honestly, by the end of the night I had no idea what the fuck was going on. Got out of the club at about 2 A.M. and passed out in my car parked on a side street. Didn't wake up until like 11 the next morning and drove home. I'm amazed I slept all night without waking, but I was pretty damn fucked up.

Last night I went way overboard again. Drank about 12 beers, and just saw my psychiatrist for the first time yesterday who presrcibed me three medications (see the related "Depression/Anxiety" thread). Didn't quite black out but came damn close. I think I've gotta learn some self control here.

I've only done mushrooms a few times, and acid only once, but shrooms are the absolute fucking best drug. I wouldn't want to do them all the time, but goddamn they are fun once in a while.

I've maintained a steady buzz all of my long weekend, today I was traditionally high on traditional pot and it was traditionally fantastic. only 44 more minutes and my goal for the weekend will have been met. Hoo-rah.

They're hella fun. They taste like shit, you're stomach will hurt for a bit and you may throw up, but If you can get 'em down (it helps to chew them while drinking something like tea or soda) and can get through an hour of stomach pains you will have an awesome time. Go to a park or somewhere nature-like and it's great.

I remember drinking an entire bottle of robotussin once and watching an evening of Star Trek. It was ummm....interesting. I'll never do it again.

heres the deal. take a chocolate bar and put peanut butter on it. put your vile foul tasting mushrooms on that. put chocolate syrup on it (optional) and then go freak out.

Over the summer I had chocolate shroom pops. Not bad, but I didn't eat enough of it to feel anything.

How much did you take? Stomach pains should only come if you take A LOT (more than two ounces) and you can ease the onset of stomach pains by making tea out of the shrooms (just drop them in hot water, it tastes like plastic and also makes it last longer). Also, obviously don't take them on a completely empty stomach.

Chocolate shrooms are baked, so you need a lot more of them. A friend of mine bought some the other week and didn't trip at all, and he ate an 1/8th which is enough for one person on dry shrooms. Of course, personal experience varies, but that seems to be the norm.

What Josh said. No one really does shit about it. The worst that happens is the doctor figures out the person is "double dipping" and refuses to see said person again for lying and taking advantage of their practice. Plus, they might get another charge if they ever get busted for selling an illegal substance.

Not really. Everyone pays for it. At least some of the pills are paid for by some form of healthcare. Then the people who buy the pills from the dealer often times are on some form of government aid. This sort of stuff waste a lot of money that could be used to help those in need.

Took a percocet from when i broke my arm and i stole a xanax from my gf, i feel like im floating and that mybody doesnt belong to me and im just watchingg from the side wondering how its functioning when i feel like me and my brain are chilling floating on the ceiling. I got some Klonopin from my doctor about 10 days ago for anxiety and just went to a psychiatrist a few days ago and got zoloft, depakote and buspar and a strict dosing schedule. She told me to stop taking the klonopin because buspar is anti-anxiety also. So I was tempted to stop taking them but figured WTF I'd just finish them off tonight to see what happened. I've probabaly had about the last 12 or so during the course of the day and just popped five of them about 15 minutes ago. I don't really feel great or high, just sort of "meh" like zombie-ish sort of. I'll probably feel like a nervous wreck tomorrow though. Man I miss the smoke.

Oh yeah and because I just started all these meds I felt totally dissasociated from reality, sort of euphoric, and almost like a was speeding (like drinking way too much coffee)at work today. Not that I minded that much.

Wow I didn't realize until I read this thread that there were so many pill poppers here at TNL. Makes for more interesting conversations than "gaming discussion" though.

While we are at it, a warning; Don't do opium. A friend gave me some a few weeks ago, I dilluted it in hot water and drank it. Big mistake, it didn't make me feel like Sherlock Holmes or Johhny Depp in From Hell - and I certainly wasn't 'riding the dragon'. Another great drug story gone horribly wrong: I got hold of a whole bunch of morphine, which I never touched myself, but I knew some medical students that decided to use it at as party drug. Long story short, after 60mg pure morph, they rush home in a cab feeling panicky that they might have OD'ed on the stuff. They crash at the one guy's mother's house, and approx 1 hour after they got home they decide to call an ambulance for some anti-dote. Now for the good stuff: The staff arrives and gathers in the kitchen where they make him bend over the stove with his pants down for the injection into his buttocks. JUST(!) at this very moment his mom wakes up and walks into the kitchen. Needless to say, he never touched morphine again.

When I was in high school, my friend's father had stomach cancer, and he had these HUGE bottles of morphine in the fridge, they looked like giant quarts of oil. The guy was the founder of some sort of substance abuse awareness program that would lecture kids on the dangers of drugs and all that shit, so he never touched the stuff. One weekend my buddies snagged a bottle and they were taking shots like it was whiskey. When they showed up at my house, I swear to god they were about to die, they were literally green and they looked like fucking zombies. One of them puked for about 4 hours straight, and the other two couldn't do shit but nod off and drool all over themselves.

Needless to say, I never had the balls to try it. Scared the hell out of me.

I spend too much time drinking to do drugs--I find they take up valuable room. However, I find a good on the rocks jack goes good with message board posting. (yep. now on my 2nd) A good frosty beer goes with catching up on email your friends. But I like a nice mixed drink (not too sweet) goes nicely with speed texting on my trusty Motorola.

Yet he didn't lock it up to protect his own kids. Good thing you didn't touch it. I'll wait until the day I need some serious surgery before I get near that stuff. Ever been to a hospital and talk to the patients on morph? They say some outragous things. It's not funny when a morphed up patient gets a hate trip though.
