You know the drill, people. Glance the list and let us know what you want. It's an ok month for games, but a pretty bad one for November. There aren't really any "killer aps" out, which is very unlikely to happen so close to the holidays. Anywho, here's what caught my interest.

I WAS saying "thank god the only game I'll have to buy is Dragon Quest 8, and then I can wait for Trapt to go bargain bin..."

But then I saw "November 15, 2005 Odama" and "November 15, 2005 Chibi Robo." Ah well, it still is pleasantly little to buy, I get buyer's anxiety when there are like 12 games coming out that I desperately want but can't afford in a single month.

Wait, doesn't Ookami come out November too?

With Ninja Gaiden Black, KOF 2003, and Gunstar Super Heroes, I think I'm set for the year (no 360 for me). Guitar Hero looks cool, but like Taiko Drum Master, I'm going to wait until the game hits either $20 or $30 next year.

well, there is this one pc game thats coming out around nov 22, its part of this obscure series of computer rpg's i might just pick it up, ya know, if nothings good on tv.

in all seriousness, oblivion is still being hoped for the 22 for both pc and 360, but there is a rumor it might get pushed to the 6th of december if they cant lock the framerate down, this is only a rumor, bethesda rarely announces a release date till the game is pretty much gone gold. but yeah i think oblivion will take up my time for pretty much the next 3 months or so, unless city of heroes has a really good issue 7, oblivion will be the only game i play for months.

the mario and luigi may finally get me to get a ds though, on the gba the first m&L was great, if they dont drop the ball, this may be a required purchsed for the brief non-oblivion moments of the future months.

you know, not just because im a fanboy for morrowind, but i really think that in the 360 launch that oblivion will really turn some heads, it did away with a lot of the irritations of morrowind, like missing when you clearly hit, and lifeless npc's so it may just be a breakout mainstream hit. remember that fable, morrowind, and kotor sold well for the box, so its not inconcievable to see some mainstream success of this one. i know for me it is THE must have of the entire year, even eclipsing my previous favorite game, jade empire.

im anticipating this game as well but i could never in a million years see a game of it's type selling well on a console. "probably" on the pc......but not console.

maybe, for what i heard(nobody ever has sales numbers to back this up) but morrowind sold more for console, and given its relative console obscurity and how horrid its in magazine ads were, thats a feat. but either way, i care about exactly one sale of oblivion, mine, launch day, through a pack of zombie pirate monkey ninjas if i have to.

Most anticipated for me has to be Dragon Quest 8.
I didn't know Odama is out on the 15th. I'll have to put that on my que for Gamefly. I might pick up Mario Kart DS if I rent it and then like it.

I checked around and ebgames and ign have them listed for Q1 2006. If you can find a couple sources that say otherwise, I'd gladly edit the list, because I'd like to play Subsistence too. :(

I'm dying to play the Battlefield expansion. I hope that the maps are as good as the first.
I also will get Mario Kart DS, Top Spin 2(if it gets good reviews) and Samurai Shodown 5 for Xbox live play. I had good matches with it on Kaillera back in the day and hope to have more fun with it on Live.

Mario Kart DS is my #1 pick for the month. True Mario Kart gameplay (unlike DD) with online homing shell action = killer app.

Also:

Viewtiful Joe DS, looks excellent.

I might pick up Battlefront II PSP also. And I am definitely interested in DQ 8 but I need to buy a U.S. PS2 first.

Yeah, I am gonna wait on Sonic Rush though for impressions, still looks good though. I at least like the idea of gunning through ramps on two screens. Mario and Luigi looks great but I haven't even played the first game yet.

Does anyone know if the Mario Kart will offer the online play? I would never leave McDonalds. I would even take my mom and go there.

Heck yeah Mario Kart is online, where ya been since August? And you can go online anywhere, not just McD's as long as you have a wireless router/access to hotspot or Nintendo's USB wireless adaptor.

The DS games are looking nice though.

this is bad news. battle mode is what makes the multiplayer mode in that game worthwhile.
