For the past few years I've noticed these odd bumps on the sides of my legs. Everytime I took a step or stood up, they would pop out. They are soft to the touch and don't hurt, but they are rather unsightly. Everytime I wear shorts people ask me what the hell happened to my legs.
I was at the doctors today getting a physical, and I finally found out what those bumps were; lipoma. Apparently they are non cancerous tumors made of fatty cells that won't go away. I did a little reasearch and found out that the only way to remove them is threw surgery. Unfortunately insurance won't cover the removal because they are cosmetic. It is hard to deal with them because they make my legs look freaky.
Do any of you have lipomas? Or have any of you had your lipomas removed?
