I don't see where it's dropping. Maybe in actual practitioners, but as far as religious rhetoric and cronyism goes, it's stronger than it's been in some time.
Not really stronger; just louder and more obnoxious.

Regardless of Jack Thompson's religious motivations, he's fighting a losing battle because his tactics are shitty and his rhetoric is humorous at best and crazy at worst. He's making himself into more of a joke every day and will be taken less and less seriously by people who matter because of it. He's already lost some support from family friendly firms and the more he opens his mouth and says stuff like he did about the Japanese, the better for all of us, because he just continues to reinvigorate the growing public notion that he's a complete tool. He's digging his own grave here, so we should applaud and encourage him.
