Jury Duty

I had jury duty on Christmas eve of last year at 6am. They had us sign in, we watched Napoleon Dynamite on their waiting room TV, and after about the duration of the movie, they let us all go. It was.....odd.

Surprised the court had trials scheduled during the holidays. Atypical situation.

On the other hand, Napoleon Dy-no-mite!

I am at jury duty right now. It is supremely lame.

I was summoned once.

I didn't go.

I can understand why you wouldn't go but as much of a pain as it can be, it's better to just do it. If you get selected and you don't show up, they can throw you in jail.

Hey, if that works out for you than that's great. You just don't want to get pulled over on your scooter one day and find out you have an arrest warrant :-p

ps I've skipped jury duty before too, so no fronting here.

I was drunk (well, drunker than the others) for a portion of the time I was at jury duty

I've never once been called in for jury duty.

I have gotten the notice that tells you to call on a specific date and time to see if you are needed a couple of times. Unfortunately, I've never been needed. I want my guilty vote counted.
