This is indeed a good direction. I'm showing my support: http://users.ign.com/about/MarkRyan-IGN
what if its raining
bullshit
When I saw the thread title I thought, wouldn't it be cool if it really is what it sounds like? Then I clicked the link and it was! I am a full supporter of the movement... for the most part. Three of my top 10 games (Thief Gold, Fatal Frame, Doom 3) violate the rule and I don't love them any less.
It's bright club for video games.
what a pointless thing to bitch about. Let alone make a whole damn petition site about it.
UK Resistance is a comical blog-type site. This is just one of their posts. And it's supposed to be funny, if half serious.Quote:

I like videogame worlds that look like videogame worlds. Blue Skies In Games support.
lol. The fact that people are angered by a campaign such as this just proves the world is in desperate need of more blue sky games.Quote:

I think it was probably more of a reaction to the rift in popularity between games like GTA and um.."nicer" games. A lot of my favorite games don't have a blue sky for their duration, but I still kind of agree with the basic principal behind it.
I liked the blue sky in BoF:Dragon Quarter. Such nice contrast to the rest of the game.
I loved the blue sky in OutRun and OutRun 2 turning into different colors. Beyond that, I've rarely taken note of sky colors in a game.
thank you for getting it.Quote:
