I skipped 2, but I'm highly considering getting this one. My brother-in-law will be in for Christmas and he played and liked 2 as much as the first one, so I think I'll get this for him for Christmas and then we can play it over that long weekend. Then I'm covered for a Christmas gift AND I can check out the game before deciding if I want to own it myself.
That's just the Gamecube version. I am holding the XBOX version as we speak.Quote:

They really added a ton to the Prince's moveset, I was surprised to find myself about an hour in and they were still introducing things. So far the fights overall still feel about the same as WW, I really think they could've added a lot more then they did with his new weapon. He's got a chain-whip but instead of looking at something like Soul Calibur and trying a bunch of pull-and-slash moves or anything like that, all he does is either twirl it around his head in circles or swipe it back and forth. They worked it into environment traps and puzzles nicely, though.
It's one o'clock in the goddamn morning. I started playing at like 2pm. When the fuck did it become 1am?! I took couple minute breaks here and there to piss and grab a snack, but otherwise this game just had me under its spell and made me play the hell out of it. I lost one or two hours of playtime since for some reason I decided to wait to see what was down an alternate path, and once I went back and found out it was a life extend I then replayed half of everything I'd done so far to keep it.
This game rocks, the only reason I'm stopping is because I have a meeting at early o'clock and have to be up in four hours. Otherwise I'd have just kept playing until the end, I don't want to stop. :(
I haven't put in anywhere near the time I've wanted to, but it just gets better as you play. I recommend anyone that had reservations to play this due to hatred of WW to get this. One of the best of the year.
Just beat it, damned good game. Definate GOTY contender.
You are a videogame monster mech. How long did it take you?
