The pizza places in my town took out their game cabs because they "attracted the wrong crowd." :cry:
The Burger King near my house used to have a Super Street Fighter II Turbo like 10 years ago, though.
The one pizzeria I pass every day on my way home has a Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter cab. It also has a gun game, but I never bothered to go inside to see which one it is.
Man, barely any place around here has arcade cabs anymore. Aside from places like Dave and Busters, Nathans or Tri-Country Flea Market (I still have to show up there sometime and smack around Chao and TrialSword), the scene is totally dead nowadays.
I remember walking down to 7-11 when I was a little kid and playing Elevator Action and Spy Hunter. In later years I went to T&F Video where we played endless games of SF2 and MK2. Ah, those were the days.
That reminds me, the 7-11 near me had a Robocop cab a long time ago too. Now there's just an ATM machine D=
My 711 had a MK2 cab back in the day. It was awesome.
All the pizza places around me have that Golden Tee shit. Arcades are dead here.
Puzzle Bobble.
The nearby Pizza Hut used to have this old X-men side scroller. Then, they had Samurai Showdown. Then they turned the entire place into a purley carry-out/delivery. I was pissed.
My local McDonald's has Star Wars Trilogy Arcade and Crazy Taxi, and a sandwhich stand/bar in town has Marvel Super Heroes, Capcom vs. SF and a cool shmup whose name escapes me. That's it. :(
