I would be a total warrior of Sparta.
i dunno - war like that , your life expectancy is like 1 minute, especially in those army to army collision charges. I always felt bad for my guys when i played empire earth. =(
I'd be an archer, or maybe the lever-puller on the catapult. Fuck being in the front.
Whenever I see paintings of old Grecian or Roman wars, the dudes are always naked or nearly so, with their junk flying all over the place. It would suck if people really went into battle like that, I would be too concerned about not getting my wang lopped off instead of enjoying the battle.

Being in a Roman cohort wouldn't be THAT bad, I mean you'd be much better off than in most ancient armies. I guess your biggest problem then would be who you were fighting.
If I had a choice, hell no I wouldn't have went to war. I'd be back home with all the young ladies left behind and have fathered many many children. :D
