You should join in on the Top Gear thread. This was an excellent episode. It's weird that they didn't show it doing zero to whatever the fuck speed it can get to in 8 or so seconds.
Really disapointed they didn't let The Stig take it around the track, nor did they really show Jeremy giving it a good flogging,
Psst... No E on the end there, Dan Quayle.
I'm at work right now, but I downloaded a HOTD4 video a couple of nights ago and it loaded at 33kbps. Does this load a little bit faster than that? I can't imagine having to wait 4 hours for it.
Saw this car in the latest Car and Driver, very fucking sweet

the only reason i can think of is that because it's such a exclusive and rare car, they just won't let anybody drive it.Quote:

God, i need to catch up on all my top gear episodes. I love this stuff.
Watched the Bugatti episode as my introduction to Top Gear. Very enjoyable program. That car is also one of the most insane things I have ever seen. I downloaded another episode, where they take three Supercars and drive to this gigantic bridge in France. Both were very entertaining, and informative. I don't ever care about cars, but was kept interested the entire time. Fun show.
They do some crazy shit sometimes with cars. Check out our Top Gear thread for some examples, it's easily the best automotive show ever made.
Downloaded, watched, amazed. Please post more of these if you've got access to 'em. :D
Point your browser to the nearest torrent site and download till your face melts. Lots of TG shows floating around.

The McLaren episode is very good. and also check out the M3 CSL episode...hotness!
Honestly i prefer Tiff Needle reviewing cars instead of Jeremy Clarkson.
If you want to fall asleep maybeQuote:

I prefer to think of it as Clarkson actually putting in the effort to make his show entertaining. Both shows will tell you the same information, handling characteristics, build quality, if it's fun to drive, blah blah. One does it with personality and one doesn't. I haven't watched as much Fifth Gear as Top Gear, but i've never seen FG talk about how "cool" a car is. I like the way TG is always looking for the soul of the car, and not simply the technical aspects.Quote:

So...Cool or Subzero? *Asks audience members, even though has already made up mind which.*
Clarkson get's slammed, now i really hate that mother-fucker...

JEREMY Clarkson is lucky that Adolf Hitler-style salutes only earn sharp rebukes in Britain. If he had done it in Germany, he would have been jailed six months.
But this did not stop the celebrity car reviewer of the popular BBC TV show Top Gear from sparking an outrage after giving the hated Nazi salute on television.
The presenter, 45, made the vile gesture on the programme while he reviewed and mocked German car maker BMW's version of the Mini, a British icon, reported The Mirror.
Firstly, he joked that one could make a 'quintessentially German car' with indicators that worked like a Hitler salute - and he shocked viewers by performing the gesture.
Next, he added that the Mini should have a satellite navigation system 'that only goes to Poland' - a tasteless reference to the German invasion in 1939 that started World War II.
And he continued the tasteless theme by suggesting that the car's fan belt would last 1,000 years - not a veiled comparison to Hitler's boasts of the Third Reich having a 1,000-year reign.
After the programme aired, Mr Clarkson was roundly condemned by German business chiefs and the English Football Association, who were eager to stamp out anti-German hatred ahead of the World Cup Finals in Germany next year.
Mr Jeremy Clarkson, seen in one of his TV programmes in the cockpit of a Mustang fighter aircraft.
Mr Lanbert Courth, head of industrial giant Bayer's UKarm, branded the antics 'unpleasant and disturbing'.
FA bosses are keen to stop fans whipping up trouble by singing anti-German chants and the theme from the war movie Dambusters.
An FA spokesman continued: 'We do not want to be drawn into criticising Mr Clarkson, but this is exactly the type of behaviour we are trying to stamp out in England fans.
'We've made great strides recently. And we're looking to improve that further next year by cutting out certain songs and chants at the World Cup that may cause offence to Germans.'
Mr David Marsh of the German-British Business Forum complained to BBC chiefs over that show, which aired last month.
His letter said: 'As a British person with strong links to Germany, I take exception to this poisonous rubbish carried out by a publicly-funded broadcasting company.
'Such actions are out of place in our society. It does no good for people such as Mr Clarkson to dredge up the past in crude, stereotypical fashion masquerading as outrageous humour.
'Had he made such slurs against Muslims or Jews, he would probably be prosecuted.
'Somehow, Germany and the Germans are fair game.'
The BBC said yesterday: 'We will investigate.'
they were just jokes. The germans have to get over it. Everyone that was alive then is almost dead anyway, so why bother carrying a grudge? I'm almost 100% german, i laughed. No one under at least 70 has any right to complain.
Hm, I guess I thought making fun of Nazis was fair game. I did not even think about him getting in trouble for that, they make all sorts of homosexual jokes on that show too. It just seemed like the Brits were more loose, oh well. I am sure it will all be fine.
JC makes fun of everyone. Gays, Germans, The French, Americans...Its part of his charm.
He owns a Mercedes and a Ford. That should say someting.
LOL, who doesn't make NAZI jokes?
After watching a couple more eps, Top Gear is the greatest car related show I have ever seen. Clarkson could wear a damn brown shirt on stage for all I care.
