Yeah, they are pretty crap. The shoulder buttons on the usb knockoff, however, are pretty decent.

Only thing that sucks about the clone is that there's no proper start button. It's just mapped to trigger A+B. Meh. Could be worse...

Hmmm, mine has a proper start button, and I bought it from a place called Microplay, which has since gone out of business.
I wish I'd bought a couple more, but I was skeptical of the quality when I bought it.

Damn. Well, hmm. I guess to ebay I go again. Yum.

Geen: I'm really not trying to be too mean, but, you only then realized that all the Playstation controllers had the same exact layout as the SNES pad? The original pad looked just like the SNES pad except for the prongs and the extra shoulder buttons! The Dual Shocks look just like the SNES pads but with analog sticks. How did this escape you until you played Final Fantasy III?

I never owned a SNES. I only played one a few times when I might have been like 8 or something at my cousin's house...I was a Genesis guy...

So I never really had the SNES controller drilled into my head...I probably only held one in my hands for 15 hours total in my life.... When I played FFIII (emulated) I was like "whoa so that's why" and it all made sense...


I have one of those original PSone controllers around here..I hate that thing...


Anyway that Logitech RumblePad 2 is probably the best thing out there, but if your an Xbox guy CircuitCity sells the 360 controller as a USB PC controller...I prefer the PS2 controller, but I like to play sports games on Xbox so I might get the 360 controller if Madden supports it (It only lists the Logitech one on the box).
