Why does he have to?

I think I have to get this game now because everything that Opaque likes about the game agrees what I would like about a traditional JRPG. I'm also a sucker.
I'm a couple hours in and already pretty bored of the battles.:sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat::sweat:
I'm trying to sneak past the enemies now. :red:
Someone go buy Wild Arms 5 instead and tell me how it is.
The review I read pretty much said every other game was shit, but 5 fixes all the problems with the other game.
The Hex system is in there but supposedly is a crap load better.
But that fact you liked 4 may be a bad sign.
I thought 4 was a very entertaining game... mostly because of the platforming and hex battle system. The characters were also cheerful, in that Skies of Arcadia type of way...not all "doom and gloom its the end of the world as we know it" like most other main characters in RPGs.
I'll be checking out part 5 to see if its any better or worse than 4.
Mural Town completely justifies Blue Dragon.
