Nobody forces you to search every wall. From what I've read, you usually only gain a little money when you find anything.

I'm still on the fence about Blue Dragon. The demo was alright, but the SD unfriendly graphics are disappointing. I really want to move my 360 out of the bedroom where it's hooked up to a monitor and back to my living room on the SD TV so I can be comfortable while playing again. If anything, a price drop and a hd tv purchase will probably have me finally bringing this home.

i was looking forward to this but the demo left a way bad taste in my mouth. Bargain bin or bust for me, im willing to give it the benefit of the doubt then.

I am surprised that people put so much faith in EGM's review scores.

I like JRPGs, the demo is fine, I will get this. People panned Enchanted Arms but I thought it was a fun RPG. I am sure BD is better than EA.

Agreed. It's pretty much always the same story. People who pride themselves on hating JRPGs bitch about these games (while often still playing them for some reason), while the rest of us enjoy them in spite of their flaws.

Some of us just want some advancement in the genre. I love FFXII but Blue Dragon feels dated (based on what I played of the demo) despite the modern graphics.

The demo also killed my chances of buying. I say check out Eternal Sonata instead. The demo for that was great.

Not sure if you can have advancement in every single RPG coming down the pipeline. I think it looks/plays great, and if the story is there (which I hope it is), then I know I will enjoy it.

I pride myself on Enjoying JRPGs, this seemed like nothing special. Could be interesting though.

RPG demo's suck though so I'd like to wait until the game is actually released.
