First article is from the latest Famitsu, where Hideo Kojima apparently confirms a new Metal Gear Solid is in development for PSP. Second scan is a few pics from Metal Gear Solid B.D., an interactive graphic novel in the MGS universe, also for the PSP, made out of collaboration between Kojima and Frank Miller. Yes, that's right. Kojima + Miller.

Also nice to see a real MGS game get made for the PSP too as opposed to those wacky card games they've had previously.
They won't release something central to the series' overall plot on anything but PS3, so I'm guessing the new PSP game is either some out-of-continuity BS like the Ac!ds and the GBC game... or MGS: The Further Adventures of Raiden.
It doesn't matter, it'll be the straw that broke the camel's back. Upgrade here I come.

The news about MGS BD is nothing new actually. It's been announced on Famitsu a few months ago actually and from my understanding, it appears to be the MGS comic book in a UMD. BTW, BD stands for Bande Dessinée, the French term for Graphic Novels.
On the other hand, there appears to be a new MGS game for PSP that isn't either: an ACID game or BD.
Miller would be a selling point if this was 1985 or 1995, but not 2005.Quote:

I love the visual style, and they can easily change the plot around a bit in some intriguing ways. If I had a PSP, I'd get this for about $20. Sometimes I'd rather watch a Metal Gear Solid game than play one, and this would satisfy that desire.

This is already available in trade paperback form at a comic shop near you. If the Silent Hill digital comic is the same thing, scans of the graphic novel with ripped mp3s from the playstation game slapped on top...pass. That's pretty disappointing.
That video reminded me of this Captain America cartoon I used to hate as a kid because it wasn't really actually animated. Except, this is much cooler looking of course.
