I liked the cutscenes too. Even though I had absolutely no idea what the hell was going on in them, it still created some kind of context for you to be flying your little ship around in. I wish they had bothered to translate Ikaruga's pre-level poem things for the same reason.

Wait, does this mean I'm not going to be able to sell my copy for 240 dollars anymore?

That's cool then. I'd hate for older games to get nixed.

You mean there's finally a decent-working version of Moonwalker? The one I have runs like crap and won't work in MAMEoX.

You might, the Saturn version is better than the ST-V version.

Are you complaining about performance or accuracy? I never said it got faster. But yeah, in the newest MAME (0.102), Moonwalker works great, as does Thunderblade, Galaxy Force 2, Power Drift, Gain Ground, AB Cop and all the other 16 bit Sega classics that never used to work. System 32 has been much improved, also, though a few games are still buggy or not working.

Not anymore. Mariusz got to improve the driver recently and the latest MAME update runs many games at full speed.

Real games have to have story, length, and cinemas? I have been playing Ketsui for the past 6 months and it is a five level long shooter. The best part is that those 5 levels are fucking 100% gameplay and fun the ENTIRE TIME. I fucking hate loading times and listening to stupid ass stories (MGS). Funny thing is, I consider the story of Ikaruga to be one of the best, and it does it in a such a way that doesn't get in the way of PLAYING.
