Yeah, when Giant Bomb tried Drank (out of Houston) I decided to give a try too. Tasted terrible and did exactly what it said it would. Felt like I'd just taken Nyquil after eating a turkey dinner.

If that's really what you want, why not skip that and just get kava extract? The stuff they have at Whole Foods is pretty good with the whole relaxing thing. Looked for Throwback at the grocery store today and I came up empty handed. I did see a commercial for it today though.
It's usually said that part of the reason sugar got replaced by HFCS was that it was more expensive... and yet Throwbacks have the same price point...

Pepsi would be wise to charge a premium on real-sugar Pepsi and make it a permanent product. There are plenty of stores which stock Mexican Pepsi/Coke year round and are priced twice as much as the normal sodas, yet people still buy them. I know I'd pay a bit extra just to drink Pepsi which doesn't leave a coating of shit in my mouth.
My target had both Pepsi and Mountain Dew throwback products. Grabed both, surprisingly I like the Pepsi more than the Mountain Dew.
I'm gonna have to pick up some of the throwback stuff. I thought it was just a can design.
Also: Sierra Mist Ruby. Since they've stopped selling Squirt around here, I got a free coupon for one of these and I'm hoping it can replace the Squirt shaped hole in my life.

Jarritos released Mexican Cola, and I really like it. For those that have had Mexican chocolate with the cayenne pepper, this will have a similar after taste. I basically don't drink soda and only make an exception for Baja Blast and Mexican bottled versions of Coke, Mountain Dew, and apple sodas with real sugar. This is definitely now on that list.
Pepsi Next sucks btw.
