Amazing. I am now going back to checking it out.
This came out of nowhere and looks BETTER than the target renders for PS3.
Damn.
Download it now.

Played it, the graphics were impressive, but you could definately tell the gameplay still had some problems. The collision detection and speed of the boxers are 2 huge flaws I noticed. Hopefully these things will get ironed out before the game is released, because damn does the game itself look great.
Shit. I want to see this. Does it have a release date yet?
I'm pretty sure March.
Free game demo downloads for the 360 rock, for real.
Downloading now... I'm sure I'll give it a few rounds and get rid of it... or maybe keep it as a tech demo for the non-believers haha.
I just came online specifically to post about this. Downloading now.
There is also a trailer up for download (in 480 or 720).
Ok, just played it... the demo says it's Winter '06, and that's good because it needs a LOT of work. I know it's a demo, but I had to restart a fight because it went black (but commentary was still running), and in the 2nd fight we had no shorts on (like we had legs, transperancy, and then our body). Also, there needs to be more impact with the punches. I know it's supposed to be realistic, but it just feels like a couple of wusses throwing punches instead of two professional fighters duking it out. Graphics are amazing, and the potential is there... so let's hope that EA doesn't drop the ball as usual. Oh, and one more thing, I don't like the camera getting rocked around when you hit someone... I could understand if it was ME that was getting rocked, but I totally tooled on the guy and it was throwing me off because my view was getting all crooked and shit.
Sounds like an E3 demo.
Honestly, I kind of enjoy early peeks at games in this state. It's kind of fun to see what needs to be done, how work is coming along, and what I can do to break the game.
James
Cool demo but the fighters moved *way* too slow in my opinion, and the in-between round "recap" footage looked like rock'em sock'em robots getting electricuted. Sucked.
I certainly won't buy this because EA can suck a big fat cock, but it's good to see new downloadable demos for the 360.
lol!Quote:

Yeah amazing visuals - clearly needs work still but it'll stay on my HD for the wow factor alone.
screen caps?
Condemned definately did. I'm going through it a second time to collect all the shizneit and beat the game with only melee weapons. The last level with only melee weapons is going to be death to me!Quote:

And DOA4. I think Call of Duty 2 can be argued too since it runs better than on most PCs.Quote:

My opinion... clearly you missed that part.Quote:

Fighters = Tired of them
I still play wow every day. :p
You might be crazy, but at least your avatar kicks ass JMET.
His custom title means he needs to put gay cowboys in his avatar. Maybe 2 other TNLers would understand the joke.
Okay.
I read this, shivered.. then promptly changed the fucker.Quote:

PGR3 is solid, and if something else sold me on the system, I would probably pick that up.Quote:

I played the demo over a friend's house...why did they get rid of the HUD and still have the "you're about to get knocked out" slow mo? The game also runs really slowly and, while I'm sure it'll run faster when it ships, I wonder if they're trying to slow down the pace to make it more of a simulation...The only gameplay change that I noticed was that they toned down the speed of the haymakers, which is good since they were broken in FNR2.
