Oh the new smartphone for sure supports it...As for the PSP...I guess?!
How much would one of those badboys run you?
id say the 8GB would cost aroud $700-$900....just a guess.
*gulp*
My mom has a 2 gig mem card for her digital camera, that cost her $200. I really don't see why they wouldn't work for the psp.....just wish I could do the switch a roo with her for my 256 mb mem card heh.
Sounds so costINeffective, really. I know a PSP does more, but you can get a 60 gig ipod video for $400.

6GB iPod is flash-based as well. Hard drive iPods don't come in until the 30GB model.Quote:

btw, do the Nano iPod retrieve music faster than the HDD based ones? I have a 40GB iPod, of which 20GB is full of music, and sometimes the iPod lags into playing the next track. do the Nanos do that too?
Nanos are flash, video and shuffle are HDs, and all suck :) Just was trying to make a point.
why do they suck?
Videos are good since they're the only ones like it on the market, but once Creative has theirs out, it will be better. iPods are overpriced and underfeatured otherwise, and the non-replaceable battery is just pure greed from Apple. Fuck them.Quote:

Shocking update for Mr. sphere79 Jr: iPod shuffle does not contain a hard drive!Quote:

Good things come from class action lawsuits.
Yeah, I'll get one when they're $100.Quote:

Access on the flash-based ones is faster, yes. That said, I don't think I've ever really had problems on my HD-based iPod. When first playing a song, yeah, sometimes it takes a second to get started, but from there, usually there's not enough of a pause for me to really notice or be bothered by it.Quote:

As Taito stated, if it was released now, it wouldnt work. The PSP only supports up to 2GB. But with a firmware update, I dont think it would be a problem.Quote:

My Nextel i870 supports 512mb transflash and people dont know if the 1gb transflash will be working once its released.
when the 2GB first released, it was $300. Slowly, it dropped down to $200.Quote:

are you refering to the Sony Ericsson S710 that only accepted 128MN duo cards?Quote:

Rebates don't count. For anything, really.
So you're saying that the 20 GB model doesn't have a HDD? I don't think that's true...Quote:

edit: Whenever PSP can (supposedly) read more than 4 GB.
What are you talking about? Right now, the only 6GB iPod is the Rev. B iPod Mini and that is most definently a 2.5" HDD. The only flash-based iPods are the Shuffle and the Nano, currently, although with the recent unveiling of the 32GB flash card (by Samsung, I believe?), we'll definently see that become more prevalent.Quote:

anyways, give it times and the 4/8GB MSpd will also drop in price.
I was told that only Apple can do it, and that's what we're told to tell customers, so that's the knowledge I had about it all.Quote:
