While the stills and renders looked like shit to me, seeing some of them in motion doesnt look half bad. In fact, I'm rather liking some of them now.
I'm still not falling over myself excited, but I will go and see it. No doubt. This did it for me:

Cool commercial, I cannot fucking wait for this movie.
BTW as far as the designs go, they seem to work only in the movie where that type of detail can be done. If it were being made into an anime version, the chaotic messy designs wouldn't translate as well so smoother versions would look better in animated format.
I love the way they look on screen though, I think we may finally have an awesome hollywood mech movie that should make the Japanese film guys jealous.
My only complaint so far is that horrid Bernie Mac line about the car choosing the driver. Does it really now?!
