Ice cream

Last summer, I took a trip to France and Spain. One food that I developed a taste for, which wasn't European at all, was the delicious Bailey's flavored ice cream. It was like I was eating magic with every spoonful. I've been looking for it every time I go to the grocery store, just in case, and lo and behold, there it was staring at me from inside the freezer case. Who cares if it's $3.60 or whatever per pint?

That's pretty much all; I just thought that I would share with you guys the best ice cream flavor known to man. Go buy some, as I think it's only a seasonal flavor.

I guess you can discuss your lesser ice cream flavors here as well.

I can eat a pint of Ben and Jerry's Phish Food frozen yogurt in one sitting. Holy shit, is that stuff good (even better than the ice cream version- the yogurt is creamier).

Blue Moon is the best, but apparently a midwest flavor.

if you're in europe go find some gelato. gelato > ice cream

Gelato is infact not better than Ice Cream.

Unless it's really different in Europe.

I once had a chocolate stout ice cream.

It was one of the most intetresting things I've ever eaten.

Pillsbury birthday cake ice cream is fantastic, not as good as triple chocolate though.

Plain 'ol vanilla has yet to do me wrong.

I can't eat ice cream with too much stuff in it... makes it too sweet.

Any spamony fans? I don't know how to spell it... spimone, spamone, spimony.... anyhow, they give it to you after you eat at the spaghetti factory. It's like pistachio, cherry, and chocolate ice cream much akin to neopalitan... except that it kicks ass.

Ben & Jerry's (back when they were good) had a limited run of chocolate/orange ice cream. It was from their 2 Twisted line, where they integrate two flavors together, so there were distinct orange and chocolate sections to it.

I regret to this day not somehow buying up the entire batch and placing it in a humongous freezer set to as close to absolute zero as mankind can manage, popping out the occasional pint for special occasions. Mmm... heaven.

And now it's gone. :(

Since I started going to the gym vanilla is the only ice cream I eat.

For whatever reason it seems cleaner and healthier than other Ice Creams.

There's a great gelato place near the Yorkdale mall in Toronto. It's not better than ice cream, it's just smoother. Which one I want at the time depends on how cold it is outside. Gelato is better in cooler temperatures while ice cream is awesome in the heat of Summer.

No. Sherbert is your healthy alternative, but I can't stand that shit. Vanilla is one of my favorite flavours because it's smooth and crisp and vanilla in general has an amazingly aromatic flavour to it.

I'm not a big fan of ice cream unless its in frappe form.

If it would be possible, you would win the thread.

Although I never had a Ben & Jerry's version of this, Dreyers has something very similar called Swiss Orange.It is honestly the greatest ice cream ever invented and I have two cartons in my freezer as I type this. Dont give up hope, James, its still sold in all of my grocery stores here, so I'm sure you could find some too:

Spumoni is okay.

Gelato in America is bad. However, there's a place in New Haven, CT that makes what they call "Italian Ice," which is what gelato is in Italy and it's the bomb.

Greatest ice cream: Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla, or their Natural Vanilla Bean, OOORRR... Strawberries & Homemade Vanilla, or their Peaches & Homemade Vanilla which is seasonal, but probably better than anything.

I really love all kinds of ice creams and probably love anything with chocolate and/or coffee flavor in it, plus pecans or walnuts or something more than most things, but for straight up awesomeness, blue bell vanilla with possibly strawberries or peaches is where it's at.

Blue Bell is not sold everywhere, but hey, if you've got $89 lying around, go order some here.

Ben and Jerry's had a limited run of one I think it was called "Berry Kaboom" or something. It was Blueberry and Rasberry mixed with white fudge covered pop-rocks.
