They didn't have shit to do with most of the good ones. Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, and God of War is not exactly Mario, Zelda, and Metroid.

More of the game and so on. But it should have a Live mode where you have two players being chased by eight "police players," or of similar numbers. Communication between the two chased players, having a friend set up a trap to help the other, as well as communication between the figurative authorities would be wonderful. Also, having the option of one "police player" to pilot a helicopter would be fantastic, to give an overhead view and directions to his or her friends, as well as possibly lay a unique trap; of course, this would work best with actual day & night, and weather changes.

And if possible, perhaps increase the numbers of players, proportionally as above, should the map size increase. Have rival three-man groups compete to see who can stay on the run the longest against the mass of authorities.

For my money I'd rather have God of War than Metroid or Zelda, but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

I like God of War but I dont think its that amazing. I honestly think its overrated.
RE4 kicked its ass and should easily beat it for GOTY. On the other hand people probably think RE4 is overrated.

Better than Zelda? probably not. Better than Prime? nah. Better than Metroid Echoes? sure.

It doesnt matter if RE4 kicked its ass, 2005 GOTY is Battlefield 2, with the close (very close) runner-up being Civilization IV. Third place is World of Warcraft, even if it did come out in 2004. Everything else is irrelevant.

I agree. I thought DMC3 was far superior to GoW. For console games, it's hard to argue against RE4 for GOTY.
