I had the same exact experience....I worked at Walgreens as an Asst Mgr. During the nights when i was closing up shop. One of my female employees comes up to me and was like, sir; i'm going home b/c i'm gonna be sick. i asked her whats up, she tells me to go look in the womens bathroom. I did just that and what did i see. You guessed it, shit all over the wall, toilet, sink. I was fricken pissed, b/c i had to clean it up. People these days, no decency whatsoever.

Some Stupid Japanese Name

This is long, but bear with me.

So a few hours ago this woman walked into the store and wanted to return a defective game she "just got" to get her money back. I look at the disc and it's hammered and though we're normally pretty good at not taking in scratched stuff, sometimes things slip through. Our policy is that we don't do cash refunds, but will offer full credit towards something else. I told her this and then looked at the receipt and notice it's dated 5/4/07. Our return policy is for thirty days. I point this out to her and she says it's been in her car and she hasn't been able to get back here. Whatever. I had other people in the store so I told her to go ahead and pick something else out. She went on to complain about used games blah blah blah, but she finally picked one out that was a bit cheaper than what she had originally bought. We're supposed to give them a credit slip for the difference, but I just wanted her out of the store so I gave her the difference back in cash.

An hour later a guy walks in, waits for everyone in the store to leave and then walks up to the counter.
"Why you disrespecting my girl?"
I'm like, "What?"
"My girl was in here a while ago trying to return a game and she said you threw the money at her."
"First off, I didn't throw anything at anyone unless you call handing money to someone throwing it at them."
"You better never disrespect my girl again. I'm going to cut you!"
He then reaches into his pocket, walks around the counter and brings out a box cutter.
"I'm going to slice you!"
He took a swing just as I was backing up.
He missed, but picked up my folding chair and through it at me, hitting me in the side of my head. He then walked back around the counter and out the door.
I grabbed a pen and paper and raced to the window to see if he was getting into a car, which he was. I wrote down the license plate number and called 911.
The cops had caught the guy within 20 minutes and he's now facing three charges, one or more of which is a felony.
I'm still a little shook up, and I feel like a total pussy because now I'm paranoid that even though he got caught, his people are still out there and probably pissed off that he's going to be going away for a while.
I fucking hate retail.

Jesus christ, I was chuckling a little bit at the story picturing some black guy shouting empty threats at you until I got to the part where you said he swung at you... I can't believe that. I'm still in shock that someone actually had the audacity to do that. Glad you're okay though.

If you're really worried about his fellow "thugs" you might want to carry a knife in your pocket. Even if you don't know how to use it, I'm sure it would offer you some peace of mind.

Oh, and, they were black, right?

Ammadeau - I was just trying to say, you don't talk to customers like that. I would be horrified if someone said something like that to me, regardless of whether I deserved it or not. (Or course, chances are I'd think I didn't deserve it even though that lady clearly did.)

that was fucked up. Bitched walked in and apologized and acted like nothing had happen. Cena, its a good thing you told that bitch off. I F*N hate customers like that. I had once a lady who came in after buying a bath chair you use to sit down on when in the shower. She bought the damn thing 2 years ago during a xmas sale and she wanted to return it. i couldn't give her the money back so i opted to set it up for her b/c she said it was unstable when she sat down on it. instead of taking my kindness, she drags me around the store and says i'm a regular, i'm a regular to all the employees in the store. I kicked her out for being stupid, then she called the store to tell me she called regional to make a complaint. God i hate retail and i'm glad i left.
