Companies like Sony take that proprietary information shit seriously. I've been afraid of getting fired for some info I've passed on here, having to take circuitous routes through other people.
That right there is breaking NDA.Quote:
"Our game just keeps getting moved back... And back... And back. Again, where is the box? Where is the final system? When is it coming out? No one knows and in the mean time people in the industry are starting to get just a little salty."
Yeah, he's not supposed to talk about that shit, because it happens in the office, or wherever.
He said he showed it to other employees before posting. Maybe those people who said it was OK, wanted him gone even though they probably knew it was breaking the rules. Its a conspiracy!
That would be awesome if it's true!Quote:

So? What's Sony worried about? The PS2 was a piece of shit compared to the Xbox and GC but that didn't stop them from being #1 in sales. So as long as they're at least close the public will eat up whatever they got tossed from Sony with a spoon.Quote:
But the comments most likely to have riled Sony executives were to do with the PS3's technical capabilities versus those of the Xbox 360: "I’ve also talked with people on the technical side of the Xbox 360. The consistent comment I am hearing from people on my end is, 'The Xbox 360 is better'," Robinson wrote.
Besides, it was already unofficially announced that the sports games are going to be using the same engines as they do on the 360 so it's not like those are going to look much or any better regardless. And it fires missiles.
It sucks, but the guy should have known better than to talk that shit online.
Too bad, good people had been fired from companies for lesser offense.
LOL @ Sony if the 360 is better hardware afterall.
lol, funniest thing I read all day! :DQuote:

Really, I think it'll take a massive fuck up to get all the people that equate the name "PlayStation" with "videogame consoles in general" to not get their product, and I don't think similar graphics would be that fuck up. Unless we see a bunch of developers announcing more and more stuff for the 360 and less for the PS3, I don't think Sony will have too big a problem on their hands.
Although I do think it will be really fucking funny if the PS3 is weaker or is equal but with shitty online.
Online is KEY this time around, I can't stress this enough. Anything less than Live is going to be atrocious.
Exactly. This guy aint' too bright.Quote:

To a minority. For the majority of people on-line will never be that big a deal. At least not now.Quote:

No, it hasn't. What percentage of Xbox owners are on Live? 20% maybe? Add to that the fact that the Xbox's userbase is dwarfed by the PS2's, and you have a very small percentage of people online.Quote:

What's that like ~200 million a year?
EA has them beat. They fired a thousand people for doing their jobs.Quote:

I'm telling you, this time around it's going to be the deal breaker. When are you going to accept it and say, guess what, it's time for everybody to be online. This backwoods shit has got to stop, and XBL is stepping up to the plate by making it's dashboard and marketplace online from the get-go. Sony needs this to look good (Winning, and looking good are different) and if Nintendo will do it with the rev, then there is no reason for it not to be standard.Quote:

My views are not the views of the entire market, unfortunatly.
