A fitting end for it, really.
I think there was a torrent with all the comics, the FBI took down a few sites that hots that kinda thing like mega upload and rapid share just went bankrupt not long ago.

but he just rebought the domain, unless its a troll who booked it under his name but an ongoing temper tantrum is a good explanation anyway.
that's probably why we cant have a site dedicated to finding and sharing as many lost comics as possible,
could probably post them on archive.org's "library" as its a separate thing to its "internet archive" i think somebody put salad fingers there even though that's always been available in its original places

The mirrors seem to go down a lot and I couldn't find their source, so I scraped and uploaded here. There's a Mega link with (what's supposed to be) all the recovered images, which I am downloading, too.

Dunlap mentioned making a version that's more reader friendly, which I'll probably end up doing at some point.

Found a good theme for the updated version of the site. Getting started. Not sure how long this will take me but I plan to caption the images for screenreaders (and also to make them more easier to search), keyboard navigation, mobile usability.

Q for you folks: I'm adding image captions which don't display visually but help screen readers. The added bonus is that the site search actually utilizes these captions. What should I put in them? Right now, I have like the image below - just the text from the images. Should I just do my best to describe them and leave the text out? Put both in as best as possible?
