It's August. Im not concerned. Of course I would like to see a better effort but it's August and the Phils are still what, 13 games back? If that lead was even half as much I wouldn't be concerned. Of course if this goes on for another week or two then I'll start to worry.
On the bright side yesterday I met Ron Darling and thanked him for my childhood.
Makes me wish I spent more time in the batting cages in my youth...
I liked the Lo Duca story yesterday in the Post (they sure love writing up stories about Paulie!) about Lo Duca getting some Philly Cheesesteak (a 19 year old chick in Philly). Then she trashes him by saying he sucks in bed. LOL Go Paul!
On a different note the Yanks are now having their groundbreaking ceremony for the new stadium. Should open in 2009. The Yanks and Mets (especially the Mets) need a new stadium and the good thing is that both won't be stinkin bandboxes like all the new stadiums that were built lately. Both stadiums will have dimensions that are pretty much the same as the old places (some changes here and there but no band boxes!).
Here is a pic.

Actually I'd say it's gonna be intense unless the White Sox get their starting pitching turned around. Their offense is alot better than it was last year. They'll win the Series without breaking a sweat if their pitchers start pitching like they were last year.Quote:

They didn't win last year's Series without breaking a sweat...sure it was a sweep but every single inning was a war.Quote:
