Now that the Indians are out, I'm pulling for the Mets (because I use to have a man crush on Tom Glavine) to win it all, and I hope they beat the Yankees, that would be good karma.

I can't decide whether the Yankees missing the playoffs with a $200+M payroll or losing to the Mets in the Series would be more painful for them and their fans. I'd ask Spo, but he can't reply. :D

Missing out on the playoffs will just lead to the boss cleaning house in terms on players, however, losing to the Mets or Tigers in the playoffs will lead to the boss firing Torre.

Losing in the season is always worse than losing in the playoffs. I want them out of the post season all together.
