I don't hate him. He's just not getting the job done.
I mean, I wish he was.

Round 1 of 5 goes to the Yanks. They killed the poor Sawx pen.
Green left the Blue Jays and went to the Dodgers where he was expected to be the man, or at least a member of the men, and he wasnt ready. The Jays at that time sucked, so it was ok for him to be good for a while then slump, etc...plus he had Delgado protecting him. Dodgerville exposed him, and I guess Arizona just got the rotted out husk of a player he turned into.
That's every player. It's just how baseball works.Quote:

Also, he's far from a rotted out husk. He's just ridiculously overpaid.
33 is not old in baseball anymore. Perhaps the park had something to do with his decline. However he did have some 40 homer run years in LA.
I hate to say it, but it's baseball now, he was a lot bigger in LA then the scrappy kid I remember on the Bluejays.
Chase is a hitter's park.Quote:

Green has a degenarative shoulder problem, and he's had it for a while.
Yanks trying to blow this one open too.
And Damon tries...but it's only a single. Fuck you, Fasano.
The Yanks should probably thank god (or the devil) that Liriano got hurt.
