Fuck the Red Sox for making Rich and Spo storm back into this thread.
By bringing up the Sox injuries I by default concede that the Sox were probably a better team uninjured than the yanks, but that obviously they were unable to recover from losing Varitek, Wake, and Nixon. But I didn't defend them. They were thin. Far thinner than the Yankees, and unable to recover from the loss of their captain, their rotation anchor, and nixon (though to a much lesser extent).Quote:
