David Wright is the best player in New York.
Mariano Rivera is the best closing pitcher in New York.
Big difference. I bet David Wright could close a game. Probably not as well as Mariano Rivera, but he'd probably do pretty good.
I totally agree with their synopsis of the Dodgers so far:Quote:

Thats what has been bugging the hell out of me. The only pitcher who has been impressive so far for the Dodgers is Brad Penny, and he pitched another gem of a game last night, even though the Dodgers lost to the Giants 2-1. They have a crap load of talent down in the minors right now, and I think Billingsly, Broxton, and Houlton are much better alternatives than Hamulack and Osoria or whatever their names are.
HA! Mets winning streak ended by my Brewers. :D
Boy that Prince Fielder is a big boy. I'm shocked that Ohka who the Mets usually murder did so well but what can ya do. Trachsel wasn't so good (though the defense didn't help out) and Jorge Julio is the biggest pile of shit. He is just beyond worthless. Tomorrow Ben Sheets comes back for his first start of the season. Hopefully the Mets will do well but I think Sheets will pitch really well.Quote:

I'm glad Sheets is finally ready. Hopefully things go well for him against a good Mets team.
Psssst. It's 2006, not 2000.Quote:
