People used to. Back in the day, after the Mets started sucking, and before the Yanks got good, Rangers vs. Devils was probably the hottest sports topic going around here.Quote:

Well there's another Rangers v. Devils matchup now, so...good for Hockey. Bad for the Rangers though, ha HA!
The Devils are the biggest Jersey team, with a ton of fans in north jersey. Devils = my most-viewed bumper sticker when I drive around. I don't know where you are in Jersey, but the Devils are pretty big.Quote:

The NHL also had some record attendance this year, so please don't front. If it had some decent TV coverage it might have even had some better ratings. This OLN shit can suck a dick.
I live in Morris County.
I see no fucking Devils bumper stickers.
But maybe Ill look harder tomorrow.
Example, but a poor one since it involves Canada:
"Montreal's 41st sellout in as many home games brought the Canadiens' total attendance to 872,193 this season, the team's 10th full season at the Bell Centre. That tops its NHL record of 861,072 set in 1996-97.
Notes: The Canadiens' total attendance was higher than baseball's Expos drew in five of their six final seasons at Olympic Stadium."
I live in Bergen County so I guess I'm closer to the Devils epicenter. The farther south you get the more Flyers fans you see.
Not like Morris County is South, though...

I dont see any Flyers fans either.
I know..I was just sayin'. AND I'm drunk. slack plz.
Once you cross the mason-dixon line it's like a whole different state.
Maybe outside of the city proper. I guess hockey's always had suburban appeal anyway. But really, in Brooklyn and in Midtown, it's like hockey doesn't exist.Quote:
