Things that are delicious at Subway

My orders take no time at all "I'd like a 12 inch roast beef, with just pepper and black olives". Bada bing, bada boom.

there's something wierd about D'angelos. Every sub there tastes like D'angelos, i could tell you blindfolded if my sub came from there. It's like KFC in that you can tell you ate it for the following 2 hours too. Plus it makes me shit. I'd take subway anyday, even though they don't have a griddle.

It may sound basic, but a 12-inch Meatball Marinara with nothing but Parmesean is really good.

On my block, there's a D'Angelo's, Subway. Quiznos is two blocks away or so. Of the three, I've been least impressed with D'Angelo's. We used to eat at the food court it's in a lot over the summer, and I had a half decent lobster roll there, but the service there is miserable. When they're busy, there's no way in hell your order's coming out right. Subway employees may be half-retarded and very few of them seem to speak English at all, but I generally get a sandwich the way I ask for it.

There is one thing I don't get about Subway. If you want a toasted sandwich they toast it with the meat or cheese first. Then after that they add the toppings you want.

Maybe I'm wrong but wouldn't it be better to toast the whole sandwich with the toppings on it?

I'd like 12 inches please... with pickles.

I always get that on Italian herbs and cheese bread (hella good) with provolone cheese, toasted. It was genious of Subway to start toasting their bread. Makes a huge difference. Oh, and for the BMT-No tomato, bell peppers, cucumbers. Bag of salt n vineagar lays and a coke. Yum. :D If im feeling fat I'll get a choco chip cookie too! :eek:

See, I take command when i comes to the vege's...lol I tell tell them what I want as they move down the vege line. Works much faster this way. ;)

Ripping off Quiznos was pure brilliance.

And to head it off at the pass, yes I realize Quiznos didn't invent toasting. That doesn't change the fact that Subway didn't start toasting subs until Quiznos started a national advertising campaign based heavily on the fact that they toast theirs.
