Anyone know anything about this? I've tried Mobiledit and Mobtime but neither of them recognize the phone through the USB port.

Go on torrentspy look for Motorola Phone Tools, dl it. That should have the drivers you're looking for. It worked fine for mine. (I just got my Razr on Friday)
Just get a bluetooth adaptor & welcome to sucky phone hell. V3 is slim but the OS is crappy.
Lemme know if you find some cool themes or sounds for it, currently I use a combination of MGS + 'tokyo train station' soundthemes.
Explain more about the OS being crappy... I've had no issues with it so far.
Well I just found the menu's to be unlogical and it's very difficult to navigate to your desired destination. It seems to me that engineers designed the userinterface, without thinking about how a normal user would like his phone. It's also quirky in alot of issues although I never experienced any crashes it often behaves oddly. Most users of this phone, that I know of, constantly whine about it.
Try Float's Mobile Agent. Finds all my phones and is really easy to use. Find it here.
Speaking of RazrV3, how do you turn off the sound-indicator-sound when you turn down the volume via the buttons on the side?
Seems silly to me that if you want to mute your phone by turning down the volume, it makes all that noise. Where can I turn it off?
thnx.

Whats funny is the Verizon version has a different UI, as Verizon is trying to get all the phone manufacturers to a universal UI to make it easy for tech support (and easier to sell customers add-on services) and the Verizon howard forum is filled with nothing but whiners about that too.
Every cell phone I've ever used has had a shitty, sluggish interface, and I don't expect that to change.
Cable/satelite boxes are just as bad.
So... like... is there a muted mute button on the V3?
