I'm really looking forward to this game. State of Emergency was fun for a while, but got lame pretty quick, so I hope this doesn't suffer the same fate. I really like the zombie idea though. It will be much more fun to mutilate zombies than just killing random ppl.
As long as I can pick this game up for $3 used a week after release like State of Emergency, I'll be a satisfied customer.

Come on, it's been stated time and time again Dead Rising is built with replayability in mind, that the first playthrough is more of a practice run. The game is supposed to be a zombie-filled playground where you can either follow the story or just screw with the undead. Throw in stats and unlockables that carry over from one playthorugh to the next and I really don't see this being a "short" game.
