Melty Blood PS2 ships this week. Who's getting it?
I already have it. http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/699/iconv9kz.gif Random thoughts:Quote:

-All of the dialog in the game is voiced. What the heck.
-Characters have a fuckton of color variations -- 24 per character. Waaay more than necessary, heh.
-Training mode is exactly like how it is in the PC game, minus the ability to record and replay controller input.
-The game has been tweaked. Overpowered characters have been adjusted down (Sion lost her infinite, Shiki lost the invinciblity on his backdash) while some characterd got improved (some of Mech-Hisui's projectiles got sped way the hell up, Kohaku got more life overall). The general theme of the tweaking seemed to be to take moves that were useless in the original version (like Mech-Hisui's air flamethrower or Satsuki's A facepunch) and give them a use. That and some general adjustments were also made (the bug giving air throws wonky scaling is now gone, 2A double-crossup corner infinites are gone, and dodges have shorter recovery). If you are a real nit, you can revert everything back to the last arcade revision in the options menu.
Sounds kinda cool actually.
I really, really want to play this. Maybe it's time to finally consider that solderless PS2 mod for this and KOF XI.
In the meantime, though, I have no shortage of fighters to play. GGXX/ will be hitting PSP soon, and I'm enjoying the hell out of Asuka 120% Final. Spectral vs. Generation coming to PSP soon too, but I'm not really sure about that one yet.
I still wish this would've gotten a DC port.
/DC Fanboy futility crap.
Someone was gonna do it eventually... might as well get it outta the way.
Why would someone do something stupid like that?
I hate the dreamcast controller for Fighters, there's no real reason for this to be on the DC, unless, you are saying, that's all you have...
in which case lol.
Wasn't the PC version a free download?
No, but people pirated it anyway as anything in PC gaming.Quote:

Speaking of that, I played Treasure Box on J-PS2 for the first time yesterday, and it had four display options:Quote:

That shit should be standard in all 2D games.
