Batman would have had eleventy billion contingency plans including daring mr mytslexpislik to turn everyone in that fight into a burrito and eating them all to death. Fo reals.

Batman shot some fools in first year or so of existence, back in '39 and '40. They got rid of that part of the character pretty quick though.
